How We Work

Every project starts with a flowchart and functional details document. This goes well beyond a sitemap: it documents the functionality on each page, every process and user journey, and the technical requirements behind them. Revisions to that document are unlimited and don’t change the quoted price. The process ends when you’re satisfied everything has been captured.

That document is the reason our projects tend to land on scope and on budget — the disagreements that blow up web projects almost always trace back to something nobody wrote down.

From there: design concepts under the Virtual Design Guarantee, development, accessibility and cross-browser testing, deployment, training for your team, and ongoing support.

WordPress Security & Maintenance

The most common reason a WordPress site gets compromised is that nobody was maintaining it: outdated core, abandoned plugins, no monitoring, no backups tested for actual restoration.

Our maintenance plans cover core and plugin updates, security patching, malware scanning, backups, performance tuning, uptime monitoring, and the ongoing content and functionality work most organizations need anyway. Plans run from 5 to 80 hours per month, and unused hours can be borrowed forward from a future month at no additional cost — which is unusual in this industry, and it exists because clients kept needing it.

On hosting: we don’t resell hosting. We specify the server environment your site actually needs, research providers against those requirements, and configure, secure, and deploy your site there — including Canadian-hosted environments with data residency for organizations that require it. Because we have no reseller agreements, our recommendation isn’t influenced by a commission. If something goes wrong at the server level, we deal with the host so you don’t have to.
